The midrange smartphones, Redmi 8 and Note 8 Pro are new devices preparing to come over on the 29th of August. In the last hours, some features and even the price was leaked leaving few secrets for the imagination.
The leak revealed the phone will come with all-screen design and a Waterdrop notch with quite small frames. It will have gorrila glass screen 5 in its front and back making it more stronger to resist hard falls. Its chassis with IP52 certification with a coating will resist it from splashing waters.

Redmi Note 8 Pro will come with IPS LCD 6.53 inches and a full HD+ resolution of 1080 × 2340 pixels. Rumours reveals that Note 8 Pro will support a MediaTek G90T processor coupled with 6GB and 8GB RAM. It will have 128GB inbuilt storage and should also support external memory storage. The new model will run on Android 9 Pie under MIUI 10.
Redmi Note 8 Pro is expected to come with a quad-camera configuration, formed by a main 64MP Samsung GW1 Sensor with f/1.7 aperture, a second ultrawide 8MP and 2MP with a focal length of 2 cm and a last depth sensor of 2 megapixels. In the front facing camera, we would have a 20MP sensor.
In addition to NFC, 3.5mm audio jack and fingerprint sensor mounted at the back, the phone will come powered by a 4,500 mAh battery capacity with 18W fast charge.
As for the prices, the Note 8 Pro with 6GB and 128GB will be priced at about $250 (N90,500) while the larger version of 8GB RAM and 128GB price could reach $295 (N106,790).
