Xiaomi Redmi is preparing to launch the Note 8 on the 29th of August, and it was revealed today that the Redmi Note 8 and the Pro version, Note 8 Pro will feature MediaTek Helio G90T chipset.
G90T chipset was released in July with the promise of delivering a gaming-centric powerful performance. Meanwhile, the Taiwanese chipset maker, MediaTek announced that a Redmi device would come with the newer chipset and currently, the company confirmed in a post that the Redmi Note 8 is the device that will come with their high-end chipset.
The Note 8 will, however, feature quad-camera setup with 64MP Samsung ISOCELL GW1 Sensor while the Note 8 will retain the popular 48MP setup. They will both come with fingerprint sensor and they will be the first Redmi device to come with NFC support.
It was also confirmed that both phones will come with improved battery, performance and a higher screen-to-body ratio when compared with its predecessor.
