After several rumours have leaked the specifications of the Motorola One Zoom smartphone, the device has been unveiled at IFA in Berlin.
The midrange Motorola One Zoom has some flagship features. It’s powered by 4GB RAM and 128GB inbuilt memory storage. It has a 6.4 inches OLED display with a slim chin and a teardrop notch at the top for the selfie camera.
A “Zoom” smartphone supposed to come with a mind-blowing camera features. Of course, it has 25MP selfie camera 0.9um pixel and quad pixel technology for improved low-light performance. On the rear, it has 48MP sensor (0.8um, Optical image stabilization, bright f/1.7 lens coupled by an 8MP telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom and OIS. There is also a 16MP ultra-wide angle and 5MP depth sensor.
One Zoom is also durable as the device is built of a polished 6,000 series of alluminium and there is a 2.5D glass covering the OLED screen. A gorilla glass screen 3 also covers the rear part of the handset. The phone includes P2i Nano coating which makes it splash-proof.
The handset runs on Android 9 Pie operating system and it’s fueled by a 4,000 mAh battery capacity. It charges with a 15W TurboCharger via USB Type-C. Other specifications includes 3.5mm audio jack, dual SIM, microSD support and FM radio. The device comes in three colour options: Violet, Bronze and Titanium.
Motorola One Zoom handset is priced at $440 (N159,500) and in Brazil, is being sold at $608. A Snapdragon 675 chipset device price isn’t suppose to be high as that but Motorola thinks that all the camera capabilities will justify the price of the handset.
