After the original Motorola One, Motorola One Vision and Motorola One Power, another smartphone has been added to the Moto One series of smartphones called the Motorola One Action. It’s the fourth smartphone in the Moto One catalog of phones.
Motorola One Action can capture action shots from a dedicated sensor because the phone mainly focuses on videography. In fact, it can record an horizontal video while keeping your phone in a vertical position. The ultrawide angle lens made the smartphone manufacturer able to achieve this.
Display-wise, Motorola One Action sports 6.3 inches IPS LCD display with 1080 × 2520 resolution pixels and 432 ppi density. The brand is calling it the CinemaVision display. However, it also comes with Octa-core Exynos 9609 SoC and used a single memory storage 4GB RAM with 128GB of inbuilt storage and has an external memory option.
The handset runs on Android One having the latest Android 9.0 Pie operating. The company claims the phone will receive Android Q and Android R updates. The phone houses a 3,500 mAh battery capacity with 10W fast charging technology.
The phone has a triple camera setup with 12MP main sensor with f/1.8 aperture, 5MP depth sensor and 16MP ultrawide angle lens. The 16MP is the first Motorola ultrawide angle lens and the phone can record 4k at 30fps using the primary sensor 117 degrees 1080p videos using the action lens. For more stable or less shaking videos, the phone packs EIS. For shooting selfie photos, it has 12MP camera in a punch hole located at the corner of the display.
The phone has weight of 176 grams and dimension of 160.1 × 71.2 × 9.2 mm and it comes in Denim blue and Pearl white colour options. Other specifications includes an IPX2 water resistance, NFC, Dual-band WiFi, 5.0 Bluetooth, 4G VoLTE, USB Type-C and a fingerprint scanner located at the rear underneath the Motorola logo.
From the 30th of August, the phone will be available on Flipkart. For the Indian market, Moto One Action is priced at INR 13,999 (roughly $195) which is up to 70,000 naira.
