Meizu store at the first floor of Wanshang Electric Appliance City, Huaqiang North Road, Shenzhen has been taken by Huawei.
Recall that Meizu is struggling for survival in the phone industry and report claimed the company had laid off over 30% of its employees to save resources.
According to reports, the staffs in the Huawei store are all Meizu former clerks and the head of the clerk claimed Meizu has not make any money in the last two years.
He added that the sales of mobile phones were just over 100 units and the average gross profit were just $15 to $30 while the store rent were as high as $21,789 per month. Thus, the profit was just 1/10. He however, made this statement before the store closure.
