HTC Wildfire X has been launched and has go live but one thing you have to know is that the phone was not manufactured by the company, HTC but the name was licence for other manufacturers to launch devices under its name. HTC did this to improve its situation.
Basically, the phone was manufactured by an Indian company that most likely has no intention of selling outside of their country, India.
However, the most interesting thing about the midrange smartphone, HTC Wildfire X is the design. It has a triple rear camera, USB C and a headphone jack.
HTC Wildfire X has 6.22 inch with 1520 × 720 pixels with 19:9 aspect ratio display. It uses Octa-core MediaTek Helio P22 (MT6762) 12nm processor that clocked at 2.0 GHz and 650MHz IMG PowerVR GE8320 GPU. It runs on Android 9.0 Pie out of the box.
The dual Nano SIM device has 8MP frontal camera and 12MP + 8MP + 5MP rear camera with LED flash. It houses 3500 mAh battery capacity (10W fast charging). Other specs includes: fingerprint scanner, Dual 4G VoLTE, GPS, FM radio, and 3.5mm audio jack.
The phone internal features looks fade and not interesting. The handset does not have a favourable screen resolution, the processor is too basic as a midrange smartphone and the camera does not follow up too.
The success only stands on the design because the device does not bring anything new to the midrange ecosystem.
The HTC Wildfire X comes in sapphire blue and is priced at $140 (N51,000) for the 3GB with 64GB inbuilt storage variant and for the 4GB with 128GB internal storage it’s priced at $182 (N66,000). HTC Wildfire X handset will be available on Flipkart starting from August 22nd.
