Google has pushed a new design to all users who downloads from Play Store. The new material interface offers a cleaner and premium store.
The colours of its action bar are no more there and we are left with a new white interface giving it more pleasing and visual look. There’s also a new lower navigation bar on mobile phones and on the left on Chrome OS and tablets.
In the new design, there is a navigation bar with section to discover games, apps, movies and books. The music section has disappeared but you can continue to buy songs from Google Play music app or from search engine.
The app and game tabs have been redesigned to provide more useful and relevant information at the top with a larger button. A new redesigned icon system has been added to make the content stand out.
Some more screenshots of the new Google Play UI, this time with working reviews and music store. Only UI bug is the toolbar disappearing (that I can see), and it's *fairly* stable (but still crashes a fair amount), might be something at I/O next week? pic.twitter.com/7TmTH2TYMb

The two different destination of games and apps serves users the right kind of content. Once user finds the best app or game, the new listing layout design brings richer information at the top of each page and a well-placed call-to-action button. This motivates users to install an app.
No new feature has been added, only the redesign has been pushed out to users. Moreover, if you are still seeing the old interface, kindly close the app and wait for sometimes for the new design to surface automatically.
