Subscribers have been complaining of the epileptic network services Glo provides and I think Glo is currently working on the stability of its network and presently, it has introduced the 4G on LTE band 3(1800MHz) frequency which Airtel and 9mobile networks also support.
Globacom previously supported rare 28(700MHz) band which is not supported by many smartphones. Some users have abandoned Glo SIM due to this issue and I think its time to dust your abandoned Glo SIM and access the new 4G LTE on your smartphone.
Earlier this year, it was reported that Glo is working to extend its 4G LTE frequency to band 3 and many subscribers from different cities in Nigeria could attest to have seen it roll to their SIM.
However, the only reason you cannot access the band 3 is when you’re not using a smartphone or a supported 4G device or an upgraded 4G SIM. You have to get these requirements to access the newly arrived band 3 frequency.
Have you received yours? What’s your say?
