To defend itself against hackers, Apple has decided to give out up to $1 million to any cyber security expert who find any loopholes in the security of iPhones.
This is the highest sum a company ever offers to prevent itself from future hackers. According to sources, they claimed this is an unusual initiative by Apple and instead, this offer is not only for selected researchers but for all researchers who can find security flaws on iPhone and cloud backup, even on other areas like on Mac software and more.
Meanwhile, the list of rewards varies and the $1 million can only be won by those who will find a way to access the kernel of an iPhone remotely without taking action on the user’s smartphone.
Therefore, Apple will provide researchers with special iPhones to facilitate their research for any available bugs.
