After Google has named its next major operating system as Android 10, it also effect new changes to the Android logo and the mascot. Definitely, Google seems to give a different face to Android OS in 2019. Meanwhile, Google didn’t reveal the Android 10 launch date.
As we were waiting for the Pixel 4 smartphone to come with the Android 10 operating system out of the box, a report seems to have made changes to the expected date as the report suggests other older Google Pixel phones will receive the update even before the expected Pixel 4.
An android user who later shared screenshot with Phonearena after contacting two Google customer support independently earlier this week, claimed Google support agent confimed when Android 10 will be available. The user noted they owned a Pixel 3a and the representative replied with: “I would like to inform you that the Android Q will be rolled out to the devices from September 3“.
Definitely, all the Pixel phones, including the Pixel 3 and 3 XL, Pixel 3a and Pixel 3a XL, Pixel 2 and 3 XL, and the original Pixel and XL will receive the Android 10 update on September 3.
The Pixel 4 is yet to be launched and it has been confirmed to come with Android 10 out of the box, and as for now, we are not sure when Google will extend the update to smartphones from other manufacturers. Though, HMD Global has already promised a partial rollout in the coming months, we hope other OEMs follow suite.
